Hybrid MarketingSM firm earns technical writing honors

GREENVILLE, SC — April 19, 2007 – VantagePoint, a Hybrid Marketing firm, recently won two awards in the annual chapter competitions of the Society for Technical Communication (STC).

VantagePoint's SYSTIMAX Plenum Brochure, submitted to the Washington, D. C. chapter, won the Excellence Award for explaining the dangers of flammable cables in the commercial and industrial environments. VantagePoint competed against such organizations as the National Institute of Health, Motorola and Martin-Schaffer.

VantagePoint's SYSTIMAX 10G Brochure, submitted to the Pittsburgh chapter, won the Excellence Award for explaining the components available for the 10 Gig Fiber environment.

"It's most important to us that our clients are pleased with the clarity and creativity of our communications for them," says David McQuaid, VantagePoint's Creative Director, "but it's always encouraging when our technical communication peers recognize the excellence of our work as well."

The STC exists to educate and develop professionalism in technical communicators.
